In 2021, I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science from Jagiellonian University, with my thesis focusing on intraspecific variation of male birdsong and its reflection of avian personalities. During that time, I actively volunteered at various bird ringing camps and participated in two studies, one focused on examining the impact of wind on the flight trajectory of the violet copper butterfly, and the other exploring the seed dispersal behaviour of small rodents. I also spent two months at Geloi Wetland in Sicily, learning about ecosystem restoration.

Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s degree at the Anthropocene Biology Lab, where my research revolves around the intricate relationship between urban environments and the microbial communities of blue tit nestlings. In my work, I am particularly interested in understanding how behaviours and ecology adapt in response to the changing world, and how animal cognition relates to these adaptations.

When I’m not immersed in research, you can find me exploring the wonders of nature, engaging in meditation, or dancing.
