URBAN ECOLOGY & EVOLUTION!!
A 2 weeks long intensive course will be running each Fall in English (90 hours). Lectures will be held in the morning (9:00-11:15), practicals in the afternoon (11:45 – 16:15).
Lectures: 3 ECTS; lectures & practicals: 3+6 ECTS
Open to students from the University of Warsaw & to the entire 4EU+ Community! Dates for registration [lectures & practicals] are provided ahead of class starting dates. Classes are run in English. We will cover a wide range of topics pertaining to urban biology – from bacteria to vertebrates , with insights from ecology, genetics and evolution. Practicals will focus on quantifying the urban space, synthesising knowledge and outlining fundaments of research project design in the urban environment.
